\n\nA 15-year-old girl in Guatemala reportedly regained consciousness after spending around eight hours in a coffin during her wake, after her family believed she had died.
\n\nThe incident happened on Oct. 10 in the town of Sacapulas, Guatemala, Sin Chew Daily reported, citing Revista Gente.
\n\nThe girl, identified as Yuleidy, reportedly became unwell in the early hours of the morning after experiencing severe chest pain.
\n\nHer father drove her to the hospital to seek medical attention, but while they were on the way, he checked on her and apparently found that she longer had a pulse and had stopped breathing.
\n\nBelieving that she had died, he brought her home instead of taking her to hospital for an examination.
\n\nHer family then began preparing for her funeral and placed her in a coffin.
\n\nDuring the wake, relatives reportedly noticed movement coming from the coffin.
\n\nWhen they went closer, they found that Yuleidy was moving.
\n\nHer father quickly lifted her out of the coffin.
\n\nShe had reportedly been lying inside for around eight hours.
