\n\nA 41-year-old man who has been repeatedly jailed for filming upskirt videos of women was once again sentenced to 28 weeks' jail on Friday (Oct. 23) for voyeurism.
\n\nGary Huang Kunjie has been convicted at least eight times and jailed at least seven, including this latest sentence.
\n\nThe court gave him a longer term than the prosecution had sought and warned him that he could face caning if he reoffends, CNA reported.
\n\nHuang pleaded guilty to one count of voyeurism for an offence on Jun. 20, 2026.
\n\nHe was on his way home from work when he saw a woman he found attractive, followed her onto an escalator at Northpoint City, and filmed a video under her skirt.
\n\nHe used the video for his own sexual purposes before deleting it.
\n\nBetween May and June 2026, Huang also admitted to filming videos of around 20 different women.
\n\nDuring this period, he would film the videos about twice a week.
\n\nAfter watching them for sexual gratification, he would delete the videos so police could not recover any of the recordings.
