Far-left California Gov. Gavin Newsom called for invoking the 25th Amendment to remove President Donald Trump from office in statements to media outlets.
\n\nNewsom called the president “mentally ill” following Trump’s remarks about Los Angeles and San Diego earlier this week.
\n\n“Donald Trump is mentally ill. TIME FOR THE 25TH!” Newsom said in the statements, Fox News reported.
\n\nNewsom’s newest attacks against Trump came after a Nebraska rally in which clips of the president speaking went viral, suggesting he had said the Iranian regime could take out a city.
\n\n“They can take out a city. Let them take — let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego. This is a very small price to pay, and it’s going to be over with very soon. It’s essentially almost over with, and they might keep going a little long,” Breitbart News reported on Tuesday.
